All fees must be paid in full at the time of your registration. Credit and debit cards are subject to a non-refundable $1.99 processing fee per class.
7 or more days before the class starts: Unless otherwise noted in the online description, students may request a course fee refund or transfer credit.
4–6 days before the class starts: Unless otherwise noted in the online description, students may request a transfer credit that can be put towards future classes and is valid for one year from the issue date. No refunds are issued.

Day of the class, after a class has started, or when class runs on its scheduled rain date: In order to fully pay instructors, students cannot request refunds or transfer credits.
We reserve the right to change, reschedule, or cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e. inclement weather, instructor illness, scheduling conflict, etc) or low enrollment. Students may request a transfer credit or refund within 3 business days of being notified of the change. (Courses with low enrollment are canceled 1–5 business days before the class’s scheduled start date.)
Credit card fees are non-refundable and not included in transfer credits.
We strive to offer educational programs of the highest quality. If, after the completion of a course, you feel that the quality was unsatisfactory, you may request a refund. Please email adultedinfo@rsu23.org or mail a letter to our administrative office stating the reasons for your dissatisfaction within 10 days of the course completion date for refund consideration.
By registering for courses with OOB/Saco Adult Education, you understand and confirm that you join at your own risk. You agree to the release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement and agree freely, voluntarily, under no duress or threat of duress, without inducement, promise, or guarantee being communicated to you.
We receive many referrals from agencies with clients who want to learn English, finish high school, earn their HiSET, prepare for enrollment in college, or work on skills to help them in their daily lives. Our academics classes are free, and our professional skills classes are affordable. Both offer paths to employment, professional growth, or a career change.
Call the Saco Learning Center at (207) 282-3846. Academic classes are FREE and students are registered by appointment. We have open enrollment in many of our academic classes, so you can often begin well after the start date. All academic courses are open to persons age 17 and older.
Browse our online catalog to see our current class offerings. When you are ready to register, call our Main Office at (207) 934-7922. Register client(s) a minimum of one week before class starts. We will collect contact information for both students and organizations and invoice your organization for payment.
Day schools announce weather cancellations in the early morning on channels 6, 8, & 13. Here are links to each channel’s cancellation page: Channel 6, Channel 8, and Channel 13.
If RSU 23 (Old Orchard Beach) school classes are canceled, then ALL (day & evening) Adult Education classes are also canceled unless they are online. We contact students via email and phone with class rescheduling information as soon as possible.
If inclement weather moves in later in the day, we’ll determine evening class cancellations by 3pm. We call, text and/or email students of cancellations and reschedule dates. Students may request a transfer credit or refund within 3 business days of being notified of the change.
